ICTG at ICCE 2013

Amir receiving his best student paper awardThe International Conference of Computers in Education (ICCE 2013) was held in Bali this year. Bali is a beautiful island in Indonesia with very kind inhabitants.

More than 200 papers were submitted to the conference, of which only 31 papers were accepted as full paper. ICTG has two full papers (Do novices and advanced students benefit differently from worked examples and ITS? and Understanding Student Interactions with Tutorial Dialogues in EER-Tutor) in the conference proceedings which were presented by Amir (Shareghi Najar). At this conference, Amir was awarded the APSCE Merit Scholarship; moreover, Amir’s paper won the ICCE 2013 best student paper award.

Tutoring Systems going offline for a while

Due to the extensive construction work in our building and the decanting of the South side (which houses our servers, equipment, and students), the Intelligent Tutoring Systems offered by ICTG will be going offline from the 6thNovember 2013. We will be setting up our servers elsewhere. In the meantime, the tutoring systems will be offline. We will try to minimise the time that they are offline, but unfortunately some circumstances are beyond our control. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.
